SNEC

The SNEC project is ensuring that the National Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (SNEC) can deliver inclusive elections in March 2018 that meet the expectations of all Sierra Leoneans.

The project has an innovative workstream focused on improving electoral access for people with disabilities and women; is helping NEC design and deliver an electoral results management system and facilitated NEC’s processing of civil registration data into the Register of Voters.

Our objectives

Support the National Electoral Commission to meet its objectives in the following areas:

  • support to the establishment of the voter register;
  • support to the strengthening of the results management process;
  • support to the conduct of inclusive elections;
  • support to electoral planning and management capacities;
  • support to the design and dissemination of inclusive voter information.
